How a fix works
- 1Drop the fileVideo, photo, or audio. It never gets an upload button.
- 2Name the limitA chat app, a kilobyte cap, a frame, or a quieter soundtrack.
- 3Download the fixA new file lands in your downloads. The original stays put.
Private by design
Choosing a file only reads it inside this tab. Fixbun has no place to store it, no account to attach it to, and no watermark to add. The scrubber shows a location so you can check it before you delete it. Those coordinates are not sent anywhere. Cutout downloads its model once into this browser. The photo still stays here.
When you close the tab, the working copy goes with it. The downloaded file is yours.
Questions
Does a video really stay on this device?
Yes. Fixbun reads it in this tab and writes a new file here. There is no account and nowhere to send the original.
Why does video take a while?
Your browser re-encodes it in real time, so a one-minute clip takes about a minute. Keep the tab open until the download appears.
Will every app accept the video?
We aim under the size and length you picked. Browsers save MP4 when they can, and WebM otherwise. A few old portals still insist on a specific MP4 profile.
Is the location data actually gone?
On JPEG and PNG, Fixbun cuts the metadata out of the file instead of redrawing it. Other formats are re-saved as a clean JPEG, which drops the hidden fields too.
